Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop
Effective: from July 7, 2026
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) define the general terms and conditions of product sales contracts concluded between Gálabau Kft. and buyers of the webshop accessible via yatasbedding.hu ("Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop"), as remote parties.

2. Key provisions
2.1 The scope of the GTC extends to all goods available for purchase in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop and shall apply without restriction as an inseparable part of the sales contracts concluded remotely regarding these. The language of the contract is Hungarian.
2.2 A contract concluded through the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop is not considered a written contract; however, Gálabau Kft. assigns a unique contract identifier to all sales transactions, through which it registers the contracts. We ensure the subsequent accessibility of contracts upon request.
2.3 Gálabau Kft. does not subject itself to the provisions of any code of conduct and is not a member of any professional interest representation body (chamber) beyond what is stated in point 1.
2.4 Purchasing in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop is subject to the acceptance of these GTC as an inseparable part of the individual contract formed. Gálabau Kft. uses technical means to ensure that buyers explicitly declare their acceptance of these GTC before making purchases in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop. By accepting these GTC, you agree that Gálabau Kft. will provide you with the necessary information through these GTC and the yatasbedding.hu website.
2.5 These GTC are available and can be saved, stored on a durable medium, and then retrieved without any restrictions by all users visiting the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, thus its exact content can be known before placing an order for sales contracts and can be checked afterwards. Gálabau Kft. also makes previously effective versions of the GTC available on the yatasbedding.hu website.
2.6 Gálabau Kft. acts on its own behalf in legal transactions covered by the GTC.
2.7 Commercial resale or further sale of products sold in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop is not permitted. The Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop reserves the right to refuse any contractual offer where there is suspicion that the offer was made for commercial resale or further sale (e.g., in case of ordering non-household quantities). If a non-consumer buyer resells a product purchased from Gálabau Kft., they must obtain written permission from Gálabau Kft. If the buyer fails to fulfill their notification obligation, Gálabau Kft. will continue to consider the buyer the owner of the product and the beneficiary of all claims arising from defective performance.
2.8 If, despite all due diligence and care of Gálabau Kft., an incorrect price is indicated, Gálabau Kft. is not obliged to sell the product/service at the incorrect price, but may offer the buyer to fulfill the order at the correct and actual price, in which case the buyer may withdraw from their purchase intention. An incorrect price is considered, in particular, a clearly erroneous price that significantly deviates from the well-known price of the product concerned; possibly a "0" Ft or "1" Ft price appearing due to a system error; or any other price indicating a striking disproportion in value. Gálabau Kft. excludes its liability arising from data entry errors, erroneous, incorrect, etc. price indications to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2.9 The selling prices of products and services offered for sale in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, indicated in Hungarian forints on the product page, already include value-added tax (gross prices).
2.10 As a general rule, Gálabau Kft. does not conclude continuous performance contracts. If Gálabau Kft. were to conclude a continuous performance contract, the buyer would receive adequate information about the shortest duration of the contract and the price to be charged during the given billing period (which is always a one-month period in case of a fixed price) (or the method of determining the price).
3. Webshop visit
3.1 Minors or persons with limited legal capacity may only use the services of the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop with the consent of their legal representative.
3.2 By using the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, the buyer declares that they have understood and acknowledged the terms of use contained in the GTC and the privacy policy, and accept the terms of use of the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop.
3.3 If the buyer does not accept the GTC or does not consent to the relevant data processing activities, they must immediately stop using the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop.
3.4 The stock information displayed in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop is for informational purposes only and refers to the moment when the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop database was updated. The Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop makes every effort to keep this data up-to-date, but does not guarantee it due to the rapid movement of stock.
4. Process of Contract Formation
4.1 A sales contract for products offered in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop can be concluded by placing an order electronically, following the steps specified on the yatasbedding.hu website. In the product catalog of the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, products can be searched and selected by product group and by keyword. You can inquire about the characteristics, types, gross price, available colors and sizes, and estimated delivery time of the product you wish to order by clicking on the product name or the image representing the product. When you add the product to your cart, you can modify the order on the cart page and delete items from the cart.
4.2 If everything is in order on the order summary page, you can finalize your order by clicking the "Place Order" button and send it to Gálabau Kft. Otherwise, you can return to the previous page to correct data entry errors or withdraw from the purchase. The order entails a payment obligation.
4.3 You can find information about accepted payment methods on the yatasbedding.hu website. Gálabau Kft. will in no case charge a fee for using a given payment method that exceeds the costs incurred by it in connection with that payment method. The delivery fee is not affected by the chosen payment method.
4.4 The contractual terms of the selected third-party payment service provider (e.g., Shopify Payments) shall always apply to the payment method provided by them. The third-party payment service provider may charge a fee for its services in connection with the payment transaction. These service fees are not considered part of the consideration for the product provided by Gálabau Kft., do not constitute revenue of the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, and their amount is not determined by Gálabau Kft. In case of cash on delivery, the purchase price of the product and the shipping fee are both settled through the delivery service provider.
4.5 We will confirm receipt of your order by email within 48 hours at the latest, which will serve as a durable medium to confirm that we have received your order, and will also contain the details of your order, links to these GTC, the Privacy Policy, and warranty documents, from which these documents can be downloaded. The confirmation email is considered a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium in accordance with Section 12 (2) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses, to the application of which the consumer gives their consent by accepting these GTC.
4.6 The contract is formed when the confirmation email reaches you. If the confirmation email does not reach you within 48 hours of sending your order, you are released from your contractual obligation. An order or its confirmation is considered received when it becomes accessible to the addressee. Gálabau Kft. shall not be liable in any case if the confirmation does not arrive because the buyer provided an incorrect email address, or because their email account storage is full, or for any other reason it is inaccessible to them.
4.7 If the ordered product is not available at the time of the order, or the product indicated as "available for order" cannot be procured within the period indicated on the website, the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop reserves the right not to accept the order for the goods, or to offer different conditions (e.g., if it is uncertain whether such goods can be ordered), in which case no contract will be concluded. The buyer will be notified of this. Gálabau Kft. will refund any payments made to the buyer in such cases.
4.8 If the buyer only notices a data entry error based on the confirmation email, they can initiate its correction within 1 business day by sending an email to the email address provided in point 1. Gálabau Kft. will consider this a contract modification proposal and will suspend the fulfillment of the contract until the correction is made based on the inquiry and the buyer confirms the correctness of the corrected data.
4.9 By placing an order and accepting the terms described in the GTC, the buyer explicitly agrees to accept the electronic invoice issued by Gálabau Kft. and to download it from the link forwarded to the email address provided in the order.
4.10 The electronic invoice is prepared by KBOSS.hu Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (1031 Budapest, Záhony utca 7.) on behalf of Gálabau Kft. The data provided during invoice preparation will not be passed on to third parties by the service provider, and will be archived and retained for the period specified in the relevant legislation. The electronic invoice issued by Gálabau Kft. is an accounting document issued electronically, suitable for tax administration identification, regulated by accounting and VAT laws. The original electronic invoice, as an authentic document, certifies the existence of tax payment obligations and rights, therefore, electronically issued invoices must be retained in electronic form according to the relevant legislation.
5. Performance of the Contract
5.1 With the sales contract, Gálabau Kft. undertakes to deliver the product and the Buyer acquires ownership of the product; while the buyer undertakes to take over the product/digital content from Gálabau Kft. and pay its purchase price.
5.2 Following receipt of the order, we strive to deliver the ordered product(s) as soon as possible to the Hungarian address you specified. If you order multiple products simultaneously, the products will be delivered together, meaning the delivery time of the product with the longest delivery time will be decisive. For the purpose of interpreting this point, the performance deadline shall be considered met even in case of an unsuccessful delivery attempt (if the person authorized to take over the product(s) is not available at the delivery address at the time of delivery).
5.3 If you notice any damage to the product or packaging upon receipt, you must request a damage report from the courier.
5.4 The delivered product remains the property of Gálabau Kft. until the purchase price is paid in full.
6. DISCOUNTS
6.1 The Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop regularly offers discounted products. In the case of these products, the individual discounted price is valid while stocks last. Additional occasional conditions may also apply to discounts.
6.2 When claiming certain discounts, the following restrictions must be considered:
● additional (individual/membership) discounts cannot be applied to products already at a discounted price;
● time-limited/expiring discounts are only valid and usable during the specified period; and
● discounts (individual/membership) cannot be combined or accumulated.
7. Warranty for defects, guarantee
7.1 The terms applicable to warranty for defects and guarantee, as they apply to consumers, are communicated and made part of these GTC as follows:

In what cases can you exercise your right to a warranty for defects?
You can assert a claim for warranty for defects against Gálabau Kft. in case of defective performance by Gálabau Kft. according to the rules of the Civil Code.
What rights are you entitled to based on your claim for warranty for defects?
You can – at your choice – assert the following claims for warranty for defects:
You can request repair or replacement, unless fulfilling your chosen claim is impossible or would incur disproportionate additional costs for Gálabau Kft. compared to fulfilling another claim. If you did not request, or could not request, repair or replacement, you can demand a proportional reduction of the consideration or you can have the defect repaired yourself or by someone else at Gálabau Kft.'s expense, or – as a last resort – you can withdraw from the contract. You can switch from a chosen right of warranty for defects to another, but you bear the cost of the switch, unless it was justified or Gálabau Kft. gave cause for it.
Within what deadline can you assert your claim for warranty for defects?
You are obliged to notify the defect without delay after its discovery, but no later than two months from the discovery of the defect. However, Gálabau Kft. draws your attention to the fact that you can no longer assert your rights of warranty for defects after the two-year limitation period from the performance of the contract.

You can assert your claim for warranty for defects against Gálabau Kft.
What other conditions apply to the assertion of your rights of warranty for defects?
Within one year of performance, there are no other conditions for asserting your claim for warranty for defects beyond notifying the defect, if you prove that the product was provided by Gálabau Kft. However, after one year from performance, you are obliged to prove that the defect you discovered already existed at the time of performance.
7.3 Mandatory Warranty
Under what circumstances can you exercise your warranty rights?
In case of defective performance, Gálabau Kft. is obligated to provide a warranty according to Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) on the mandatory warranty for certain durable consumer goods. The (material) scope of the decree applies only to new products sold under consumer contracts concluded in Hungary and listed in the annex of the decree.
What rights do you have under the warranty and within what deadlines?
The warranty period (warranty term) begins with the actual performance, i.e., on the day the product is handed over to you. The warranty period is:
a) 2 years for a sales price reaching 10,000 Forints but not exceeding 250,000 Forints,
b) 3 years for a sales price exceeding 250,000 Forints.
Failure to meet this deadline results in forfeiture of rights. The warranty does not cover defects whose cause arose after the product was handed over to you.
If, due to a product malfunction, you assert a claim for replacement within three working days from the date of purchase, Gálabau Kft. is obligated to replace the product, provided that the malfunction impedes its intended use.
During repair, only new parts may be installed in the product.
For the exercise of warranty claims, the rules governing the exercise of rights under the accessory warranty shall apply mutatis mutandis.
When is the company exempt from its warranty obligations?
Gálabau Kft. is exempt from its warranty obligations only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance.
Regarding mattresses, we emphasize that the warranty does not cover wear and tear resulting from natural aging. Gálabau Kft. does not undertake warranty investigations for mattresses in unhygienic conditions. We cannot accept complaints regarding mold if it is a consequence of excessively high humidity or inadequate ventilation. The mattress is fundamentally dimensionally stable, but a slight deformation during use is permissible, up to a maximum of 12% of the mattress height. Deformation less than this is not considered a defect. In case of choosing a mattress with unsuitable firmness, we cannot accept complaints arising from discomfort. Complaints regarding damage can be reported upon receipt of the product, but no later than 3 days after receipt of the product; thereafter, it is considered proven that the defect arose after the product was handed over.
Gálabau Kft. draws your attention to the fact that you cannot simultaneously assert accessory warranty and warranty claims, or product warranty and warranty claims for the same defect. However, you are entitled to the rights arising from the warranty independently of the above-defined rights.
8. Product Warranty
8.1 The terms and conditions applicable to product warranty for consumers are communicated and incorporated into these GTC as follows, in accordance with the sample information provided in Annex 3 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between consumers and businesses:
Under what circumstances can you exercise your product warranty rights?
In the event of a defect in a movable item (product), you may assert, at your option, your accessory warranty rights specified in the previous section or a product warranty claim.
What rights do you have based on your product warranty claim?
As a product warranty claim, you may only request the replacement of the defective product.
When is a product considered defective?
A product is defective if it does not meet the quality requirements in force at the time of its placing on the market, or if it does not have the characteristics described by the manufacturer.
Within what deadline can you assert your product warranty claim?
You can assert your product warranty claim within two years from the date the product was placed on the market by the manufacturer. After this period, you lose this right.
Against whom and under what other conditions can you assert your product warranty claim?
You can exercise your product warranty claim exclusively against the manufacturer or distributor of the movable item. In the case of asserting a product warranty claim, you must prove the defect of the product.
When is the manufacturer (distributor) exempt from its product warranty obligation?
The manufacturer (distributor) is exempt from its product warranty obligation only if it can prove that:
– it did not manufacture or place the product on the market in the course of its business activities, or
– the defect was not discoverable at the time of placing on the market according to the state of science and technology, or
– the product defect resulted from the application of a legal regulation or a mandatory official regulation.
The manufacturer (distributor) only needs to prove one reason to be exempt.
Gálabau Kft. draws your attention to the fact that you cannot simultaneously assert accessory warranty and product warranty claims for the same defect. However, in the event of successful assertion of your product warranty claim, you may assert your accessory warranty claim against the manufacturer for the replaced product or repaired part.
9. Voluntary Warranty
9.1 For certain products, Gálabau Kft., or the product's manufacturer, or importer, may undertake a voluntary warranty exceeding the mandatory warranty. Information on the conditions of such a warranty is provided on the warranty card.
10. Withdrawal
10.1 In the case of a contract concluded in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, as a consumer, you are entitled to a right of withdrawal without justification within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the product(s) delivered based on the specific order by you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier. If, for any reason, products related to a specific order are delivered at different times, the deadline for the right of withdrawal shall be calculated from the receipt of the last delivered product.
10.2 The right of withdrawal as per the previous point may also be exercised before the receipt of the product(s). The declaration must be sent to the contact details of Gálabau Kft. specified in point 1 of these GTC, by post or e-mail. You exercise your right of withdrawal in due time if you send your declaration of withdrawal before the expiry of the aforementioned deadline.
10.3 As a consumer, you can exercise your right of withdrawal by filling out the sample declaration of withdrawal available on the yatasbedding.hu website ((DOWNLOADABLE HERE)) or by any other clear statement to that effect. It is your responsibility to prove that you exercised your right of withdrawal in accordance with the provisions set out in this section.
10.4 If you, as a consumer, withdraw from the contract concluded with Gálabau Kft. as set out in the previous point, Gálabau Kft. shall reimburse the full amount paid by you as consideration, including costs incurred in connection with performance, such as shipping costs, no later than fourteen days from the receipt of your declaration of withdrawal. If you have explicitly chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method, Gálabau Kft. is not obliged to reimburse the additional costs resulting therefrom.
10.5 In case of withdrawal in accordance with the above, Gálabau Kft. will refund the amount due to you, as a consumer, using the same payment method you used. Based on your explicit consent, Gálabau Kft. may also use another payment method for the refund, but you shall not incur any additional fees as a result. If you purchased the product(s) subject to withdrawal by cash on delivery, you expressly agree that Gálabau Kft. will refund the amount due to you by one of the following methods:
● by bank transfer to the bank account provided by you; or
● by sending the cash by postal money order.
10.6 If you withdraw from the contract concluded via the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop in accordance with the above, you are obliged to return the product without delay, but no later than fourteen days from the date of notification of withdrawal, to the address specified in point 1 of these GTC, or to return it in person to the Brand Representation Warehouse address specified in point 1 of these GTC. The return is considered to have been made within the deadline if you send the product before the expiry of the deadline.
10.7 You bear the direct cost of returning the product. If the product, due to its nature, size or weight, cannot be returned by normal postal means (including, but not limited to: bed frames, mattresses, headboards, complete furniture), then the direct cost of returning the product is also borne by the consumer. The estimated maximum cost of returning such non-postable products is gross HUF 60,000 per occasion.
10.8 Gálabau Kft. may withhold the amount refundable in case of withdrawal until Gálabau Kft. has received the product back or you have unequivocally proven that you have returned it; the earlier of the two dates shall be taken into account.
10.9 The buyer is responsible for any depreciation in value resulting from use exceeding what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product; Gálabau Kft. is entitled to deduct this from the purchase price.
10.10 You may not exercise your right of withdrawal in respect of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been unsealed after delivery.
11. LIABILITY
11.1 Gálabau Kft. limits its liability for damages towards the buyer to the amount of the purchase price of the products bought by the buyer, to the widest extent permitted by Hungarian law. To the widest extent permitted by law, Gálabau Kft. excludes its liability for damages in connection with the performance of this contract in respect of consequential damages, damages to third parties and loss of profit.
11.2 Gálabau Kft. is not responsible for any delayed delivery or other damage resulting from force majeure, including but not limited to strikes, manufacturer delays, consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, extraordinary central administrative measures, weather obstacles, or natural disasters.
11.3 Gálabau Kft. excludes all liability if the delivery delay or other problem occurred due to inaccurate and/or incorrect data provided by the buyer.
11.4 Gálabau Kft. excludes all responsibility for the conduct of users of the yatasbedding.hu website. The user of the yatasbedding.hu website is solely and fully responsible for their own conduct, and Gálabau Kft. will cooperate fully with the authorities within the legal framework to detect any legal violations.
11.5 The yatasbedding.hu website may contain links to other service providers' pages, but Gálabau Kft. does not assume responsibility for the activities or data protection compliance of these service providers. Gálabau Kft. does not assume responsibility for the compliance with legal regulations, or the content of advertisements, promotional materials, or other information placed by third parties on the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop. The responsibility for such content lies with the party on whose behalf the advertisement was displayed.
11.6 The objective of Gálabau Kft. is to sell the goods found in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop. The images and colors displayed for individual items are illustrations, and therefore may differ from reality. Gálabau Kft. handles information on the internet with appropriate care, and the information found in the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop has been placed in good faith, however, it serves informational purposes only, and Gálabau Kft. does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, completeness of the information, or any errors or typos in the database. The packaging and box images shown for the products are illustrative, typically corresponding to what the buyer actually receives, but deviations are possible here as well, for which Gálabau Kft. also does not assume responsibility (e.g., the product is available with the same content but in different packaging than shown in the picture).
11.7 Gálabau Kft. does not assume liability in any way, especially for:
a) any operational errors in the internet network, or the obstruction or disruption of its use based on these errors, and the consequences arising therefrom;
b) the loss, non-arrival, or delay of any data, or sent or received e-mail, and the consequences arising therefrom. For emails ending up in the Spam/Promotion/etc. folder due to improper functioning of the spam filter on either the sender's or receiver's side, and the consequences arising therefrom, possible loss, or deletion; as well as
c) any malfunction in any communication line, whether on the sender's or receiver's side, or on any of the intermediate channels. For improper functioning of any software used during the transaction. For the consequences of any system or program error, extraordinary event, or technical error.
12. Customer Service
12.1 Gálabau Kft. is interested in your complete satisfaction with the services of the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, and therefore welcomes any feedback.
12.2 For matters related to the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop, inquiries are accepted via email at info@yatasbedding.hu or by post. When contacting us by post, please write "Yatasbedding Magyarország webáruház" on the envelope.
13. Legal Enforcement Options
Complaint Handling
13.1 If our customer service is unable to provide a satisfactory answer to your inquiry, please send your comments and complaints to info@yatasbedding.hu. Please refer to the consultation conducted with the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop in your complaint, and the circumstances of the unsuccessful consultation.
13.2 If we agree with your complaint, we will remedy it without delay and send you a substantive response within 30 days of receiving the complaint. If we do not agree with your complaint, or if it cannot be investigated immediately, we will record the complaint and our position on it in a protocol, and send it to you no later than with the substantive response. If we do not agree with your complaint, we will explain our reasons in our substantive response.
13.3 In case of rejection of the complaint, Gálabau Kft. shall inform you in writing about which authority or conciliation body's procedure you may initiate, depending on the nature of your complaint. The information shall also include the headquarters, telephone number, and internet address, as well as the mailing address of the competent authority or the conciliation body according to the consumer's domicile or place of residence. The information shall also cover whether Gálabau Kft. will use the conciliation body procedure to settle the consumer dispute.

Other Legal Enforcement Options
13.4 If a consumer dispute between Gálabau Kft. and the consumer cannot be resolved during the complaint handling process, the following legal enforcement options are available to you.
13.5 Filing a complaint with consumer protection authorities. If the consumer notices a violation of their consumer rights, they are entitled to file a complaint with the consumer protection authority competent according to their place of residence. After evaluating the complaint, the authority decides on conducting consumer protection proceedings.
13.6 Conciliation body. For the out-of-court, peaceful settlement of consumer disputes related to the quality and safety of products, the application of product liability rules, and the conclusion and performance of contracts, you may initiate proceedings with the conciliation body competent according to your domicile or place of residence. The headquarters, phone number, internet accessibility, and mailing address of the conciliation bodies are available on www.bekeltetes.hu. 13.7 Court proceedings. You are entitled to enforce your claim arising from the legal dispute before a court within the framework of civil proceedings, as provided for in the relevant legislation.
13.8 Online dispute resolution platform. To resolve consumer disputes, you have the option to submit a complaint on the European online dispute resolution platform, which is available here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
14. Copyright Terms, Database Rights
14.1 The copyrighted works found on the Yatasbedding Hungary Webshop (including, in particular, graphic representations and photographs) are protected by copyright, and Gálabau Kft. reserves all rights pertaining to them. If the new GTC somehow affects sales contracts concluded under the scope of these GTC, you may withdraw from the contract.
17. FINAL PROVISIONS
17.1 For provisions not regulated in these GTC, the rules of Hungarian law shall apply.
